The ‘Lesieur Committed Oils’ approach

As a leading player in the field of vegetable oils in France, Lesieur is launching a new ‘Lesieur Huiles Engagées’ initiative. This approach is in partnership with the agricultural world. It aims to develop and promote the implementation of a charter of good agroecological practices, applied to the French rapeseed and sunflower crops of more than 500 partner farmers.

The goals of this charter are to :
– Develop crops that are more robust and resilient for the environment,
– To help limit the use of inputs and fertilisers in order to preserve the soil and reduce carbon emissions,
– Encourage biodiversity on farms.

About the packaging

To promote this approach on the packaging, Team Creatif has redesigned Lesieur’s two star products: ‘Cœur de Tournesol’ and ‘Fleur de Colza’. This is a reminder of the brand’s commitment to the French food industry. It also highlights the fair remuneration of partner farmers, a founding pillar of the ‘Lesieur Committed Oils’ approach.

Consumers can find the products on the shelves. In this way, everyone can play their part in supporting and developing France’s more sustainable agricultural sectors.
